1) Be a Young Tourist 

 

Be a Young Tourist to find out more about entertainment and leisure in the 1970s and 1980s in the Voices of Singapore gallery.

2) Be a Young Explorer

Be a Young Explorer to learn about Singapore’s flora and fauna at the Goh Seng Choo gallery, Be a Young Toymaker to discover traditional toys and games in the Growing Up gallery

3) Be a Young Toymaker

Step back into Singapore’s kampong days and experience the gotong royong spirit of the 1960s! Learn about the popular toys and games of the past and their place in the childhoods of those growing up during this era.

1) Amazing Art Hunt

Level: Pre-school 

Duration: 1.5 hours
Cost: $15 per person (before GST)

 

In this exciting workshop, students will go on a guided Art Hunt around the museum to solve a series of puzzles and create an artwork inspired by this art hunt.

2) Amazing Art Explorer

Level: Primary School

Duration: 1.5 hours
Cost: $20 per person (before GST)

Students will learn about teamwork through this group activity that challenges them to create a group masterpiece artwork with their team members.

3) Amazing Art Discovery

Level: Secondary/ Tertiary 

Duration: 2 hours
Cost: $35 per person (before GST)

It is always more fun to look at art with friends. Discover the many ways of looking at contemporary art through this workshop. Students will be equipped with tools for interpretation and peer discussion, followed by creation of their own artworks in response to what they have observed.

Customise School Programmes/Workshops

We offer customised school programmes/ workshops according to your school's curriculum!

Example: If your curriculum is learning about Light and Shadow, we will create a programme/ workshop accordingly. 

Previously we conducted a programme, 

"Lights Out!" to talk about the science 

behind Shadow Puppetry. They will be exposed to the techniques to create Shadow Puppetry. 

 

Learning objective:

  • Students will learn about the History and Culture of Shadow Puppetry 

  • Learn how shadows are created 

  • Students will get to create their very own Shadow Puppets 

  • Learn mind-mapping and story writing

  • Learn how to perform with the shadow puppets
